Zhong Guan Cun (中关村) is known as the Silicon Valley of Beijing. It’s a popular choice for high-tech companies, partly because of the tax breaks and other preferential policy treatments within Haidian Science Park, and partly because of the many universities in the area. Although there are some electronics shops, it is more a business area than anything else.
