The Germans that Rap in Chinese[Audio]

Chris (20) and Timon (23) met in october 2006 at the Ruhr-University in  Bochum (Germany)where they both started to study the chinese language.
 They realized that they like the same kind of rap music, rap music with stories and deep lyrics and not like modern gangster rap.

One night in a pub the idea was born to launch a chinese-rap project,   and some weeks later, only half a year of learning chinese, the first  song was recorded: "Ni Zai Nar" (你在哪儿, or Where Are You).

It is a fun song which was the first test to check if they are really  able to do that what they dream about. They are just at the beginning of learning the chinese language, so you can be sure that much more songs will follow.

The Project name "LuerPendi" is named after the area where the two are living.  It is the direct translation of the german slang word "Ruhr-Gebiet",  in english its called "Ruhr-Area". Check out Chris and Timon at their myspace page.
