What are the differences between 二 and 两

“二”和“两”都是two，但用法有所不同：
   Both "二" and "两"mean two. But the usages are different in that:

1. 数数儿时用“二”：
   "二" is used when merely stating a number value:
         一   二   三   十一   十二  十三   二十    一百零二

2.“二”还用在语言片段的末尾：
     "二" is used when acting as the final particle in a language fragment:
         第二      十分之二      其二     初二

3.“两”的后面一定要有量词：
    "两"is used in front of measure words:
         两个人    两包糖    两本书    两把椅子

4. 当量词是“两”时，前面要用“二”：
    But when ＂两＂is used to mean 1/20 kilo, to represent two 1/20 kilo we say "二两".

5. 量词“斤”和“百”的前面既可以是“二”，也可以是“两”： 
   In front of the measure words "斤" and "百,"  you can choose either "二"or"两":
         二斤/两斤    二百/两百
