外文书店Foreign Languages Bookstore

　　 作为中国文化中心，书是北京"特产"之一。外文书店就在王府井步行街，是在北京学外语的中国人必去的地方。这里几乎有所有的外语语种的书籍，当 然也有些不错的学中文的工具书。对于我个人而言，除了曾经在这里买过几本学英文的图书以外，最主要的还是每月来这里买些日本时尚杂志或数码杂志。很多台湾和国外游客喜欢在北京外文书店买书，因为这里不仅种类多，而 且价格便宜。

        The Wangfujing 王府井walking street in eastern Beijing boasts much of what caters to Beijing’s expatriate and tourist communities. It is also home to one of only a handful of bookstores that retail foreign language literature and reference items (English, French, Spanish, German, Japanese and Russian, among others). This particular location also has the widest variety of materials of any bookshop in Beijing, showcasing five floors of everything from modern to classic works, fiction, non-fiction, reference, test preparation books, even a children’s section, and – of course – plenty of language-learning textbooks and audio-visual products. However, like most stores that specialize in imported goods, it is rather expensive, so be prepared to shell over a relatively hefty sum for your Vonnegut and Dickens.
