民族大世界(mín zú dà shì jiè)

　　 民族大世界并非是你想像的那种专卖民族服饰的场所，里面汇集了适合各个年龄阶段人群的服装、鞋帽、箱包等，而且价格比较便宜，款式比较大众化。大部分摊位还可以使用信用卡。这是在这种档次商场很少见的。

        民族大世界 is quite unlike most other similar Chinese shopping centers. It contains a wide variety of items, not only traditional Chinese clothing, but other more universal items as well. This may be unexpected considering the name of the shopping center includes the words "民族", which refers to a minority or tribe. However, it is a modern center which – in most places – allows the use of credit cards, which is quite unusual for this type of center, or for most retailers in China that are not foreign in origin. Its location in Xidan is ideal, as this region of Beijing is inundated with fantastic places to shop that are relatively inexpensive compared to much of the Chaoyang and Haidian Districts' shopping areas.
